Bobby Joe Harlow has lived in a world of music since he was a young boy. Studying violin and piano at an early age created the foundation for an incredibly broad and versatile musical experience. Though guitar seems to be his main instrument and sometimes weapon of choice, Bobby Joe includes keys, harmonica, mandolin, bass guitar and drums in the performance setting.  He currently plays the role of front man, guitarist and lead singer for the acclaimed classic rockers, JOE BLOW. Their slogan, "Not your average band" is understated. These fellas bring the best songs few bands ever attempt to play from The Who, The Clash, Stones, Petty, Dylan, Beck, ZZ Top, the Verve, AC/DC, Pink Floyd, Coldplay, Psychedelic Furs, Bob Marley, The Cars, CCR, SRV, The Beatles, Stevie Wonder, Billy Idol, The Doors and even Radiohead just to name a few.  At 16, he headed to the Southwest Texas State University and hooked up with his dear friend and bandmate, the legendary, Les Moore. Austin, Texas to New Orleans became venue backdrops to shows billed with folks from Delbert to Stevie Ray. Later, Bobby Joe played integral roles with the Rick Martin Tribe, Waifs of Destruction, Zombies of Leisure, Bad Boys with the renowned David Yeary, Feedback and as a duo with his oldest son and musical beast in his own right, Dylan Harlow.  The world renowned, Ibrahim Balmos as Assassin Dynasty has also become a fabric in the elements that brings it to the live venues in and around Texas for these heavyweights. Expect to see the fellas at live rock venues in addition to their top fuel performances at San Antonio's Annual Stock Show and Rodeo annd Floore's Country Store.  The Express-News hailed the recollections of the energetic performances of Joe "King" Carrasco in their feature on JOE BLOW.  If you haven't experienced the guitar rockin' on top of the bar or tables, you've gotta see this dude bring it via his customized wireless guitar rig. Bobby Joe is married to the former Miss Texas, Laura Zeman and is the father of six amazing children. He and Laura enjoy the musical life and even travel to Guatemala on occasions to play rock and roll for the natives, orphans, preachers, teachers and farmers of that beautiful yet impoverished nation.
